The Sangria House menu primariy features traditional Spanish cuisine, with the occasional culinary excursion to other Mediterranean countries. The menu is 'living' in that it changes every 2 weeks. Below is a sample of our offerings.

SEASONAL SELECTIONS

CREAM MARSALA SHRIMP
Tapa - Shrimp sautéed in cream and marsala wine with scallions and roasted red peppers, served with garlic crostini.

MARISCANA
Entrée - Shrimp, clams, mussels, squid, and white flake fish simmered in a spicy white wine reduction.

ROMAN STYLE GNOCCHI **
Tapa - Flat semolina and parmesan rounds served with a porcini infused cream sauce and rosemary tomato relish.

PULLED PORK
Entrée – BBQ pulled pork with a Spanish twist, served with pan fried potatoes and roasted pepper salad.

GYPSY MUSHROOMS **
Tapa – Sautéed mushrooms in an andalucian cumin spice blend with onions and pequillo peppers. Served with garlic crostini.

ROASTED PEPPER SALAD **
Tapa – Slow roasted green peppers, red peppers, onions, and tomatoes tossed in our balsamic vinaigrette.

JIBNEH ARABIEH
Tapa – Pan fried slices of our fresh white cheese, served with our rosemary tomato relish and chive oil.

CHICKEN KABOBS
Two chicken skewers, highly seasoned with cumin and other imported spices.

TRADITIONAL POTATO OMELET **
A Spanish tortilla is an egg and potato omelet, the thickness of which resembles a pie. Served with a curry giralda sauce.

HAM CROQUETTES
Four hand made ham croquettes.

SWEET TOMATO MEATBALLS
Spanish meatballs in a rustic sweetened tomato sauce.

REFRITO **
Eggplant, tomato, onion, green pepper, cooked down to perfection and served over white rice.

GARLIC SHRIMP
Shrimp sautéed in olive oil with garlic and spicy crushed red pepper flakes.

ANCHOVY STUFFED OLIVES
Manzanilla olives stuffed with anchovy.

FRIED CALAMARI, SPANISH STYLE
Small, tender, squid, very lightly floured and fried, with a creamy peppercorn sauce.

GARLIC MUSHROOMS **
Sliced white button mushrooms sautéed in garlic, white wine, and olive oil.

EMPANADAS
Two stuffed beef pastries, fried.

SLICED FRESH WHITE CHEESE
A mild yet flavorful, semi-firm white cheese.

SLICED MANCHEGO CHEESE
Full flavored, firm, aromatic sheep’s milk cheese, imported from Spain.

SERRANO HAM
Classic Spanish salt cured ham, hand sliced to order. Imported.

SPICED CHORIZO SAUSAGE
Quintessential Spanish sausage, heavily scented and cured with paprika and garlic. Served Andalucian style, chilled.

PAN FRIED POTATOES **
Sliced, seasoned potatoes, pan fried in extra virgin olive oil.

SIDE SALAD **
Traditional Spanish house salad. Romaine lettuce, tomato, green olives.

 

ENTRÉES

TRADITIONAL CHICKEN AND RICE
Saffron rice and braised chicken (on the bone) – served with a side salad.

PORK CUTLETS
Grilled pork cutlets – marinated in garlic, olive oil, parsley, and white wine, served with pan fried potatoes.

GRILLED BASA
Basa fish, grilled – served with fresh lemon and a fresh vinaigrette side salad.

CLAMS IN WHITE WINE
Fresh clams, cooked in a garlic and white wine sauce – great for dipping!

MUSSELS IN WHITE WINE
Fresh steamed mussels, served in a garlic and white wine sauce – great for dipping!

FISH TOMATINO
Fresh basa fish filets cooked in a garlic tomato sauce, served with pan fried potatoes.

PAELLA
The classic national rice dish of Spain – made using the Andalucian method of keeping the rice firm. Prepared using chicken, pork, squid, clams, shell on shrimp, and mussels. Fully made to order, please allow 30 minutes to 1 hour preparation time depending on serving size. Ask your server about availability.
